Last Thursday, we attended the 2015 MITX Awards and were excited to learn that we won the award for Best Tech Innovation in Shopping & Commerce!
The MITX awards were presented by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX), at a dinner event at the Marriott Copley in Boston, hosted by local comedian Lenny Clarke. This is always a great event and a good place to catch up with lots of interesting folks in the local tech community, but it was extra fun this year since we won the award and got some great recognition for our product.
First, we presented our VeeStudio product to the judges in a live demo and once that pressure was off, we celebrated. It was great to meet the other finalists, catch up with some old colleagues and friends and get introduced to the new and exciting tools that are coming out of our dynamic city. The best part, of course, was when they called our name as the winner in our category. We were up against some great tools from Bluesnap, CashStar, Evergage, ShopAdvisor, and Yottaa so it was a real honor to win.
Live video assistance is getting a lot of attention lately because customers love it and because companies are achieving amazing results by seamlessly connecting live with their online customers through video, voice and co-browsing on any web browser or mobile app. Vee24’s clients typically achieve a 5 to 10x increase in online conversion with assisted sessions, and 25-35 percent increases in average order value.
